Y2 have enjoyed their local walk to Ingress Abbey and compared the features on the Abbey to some castles we've looked at. We did some brilliant sketches as well!
One thing I love about teaching primary is you can be the worst artist, but whenever you draw the kids will act like you’re Michelangelo unveiling the Sistine Chapel.
We have turned this unused and ugly space into a shared reading area for the children at KHP to use, it’s open to all year groups and we hope that it will provide a calm and peaceful space to enjoy a good book. @chlobopems@suky_tiwana@KnockhallPrima1
8am -6pm with my commute is 7am-7pm. I’ve done that before when I first became a head, it wasn’t sustainable.
I lost so much by not spending time with my family, missed important moments with my boys that I’ll never get back.
