For example, Tommy Robinson’s side piece Danny Tammo has been learning from the best. He raised money for a boat to "intercept migrants" and then asked for another £2k to "help get this boat out of this yard".

Another donation page was set up where he claimed he had 30k men signed up for his "patriot army" and that he needed £5k a month.

Someone leaked a voice note of him saying that Raise the Colours have to pay him a wage, cover his bills, and pay his rent.

After the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan were not going as planned, the U.S. military launched the Human Terrain System, a program that embedded social scientists with combat brigades to help soldiers understand local culture, tribal dynamics, religious practices, and community structures.

The idea was:

If we understand them better, we can manage them better.

Notice what is missing from that sentence.

Not: if we understand them better, we might reconsider what we are doing to them.

Not: if we understand them better, we might recognize that their resistance is a rational response to our presence.

Just:

Understand them better to manage them better.

To make the occupation more efficient.

To reduce friction.

To make the subjugation smoother.

They sent anthropologists to explain why the people they were bombing were upset about being bombed.

And then were puzzled when the bombing continued to produce upset people.

The program was eventually shut down following criticism that it violated research ethics, after several embedded researchers were killed.

The researchers were killed by the people they were sent to understand.

The people were upset because they were being bombed.

The circle is complete.

The "Western countries" in your framing are not static objects that exist in a natural state until immigrants arrive and disturb them.

They are the product of continuous movement, mixture, and demographic change across their entire history.

Britain is a country of Celts, Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings, Normans, Huguenots, Irish, Jews fleeing pogroms, and the colonial subjects of a global empire.

At every stage of this accumulation, someone was saying that the new arrivals were destroying the essential character of the place.

At every stage, the essential character of the place was actually the accumulated product of all the previous arrivals, which the current residents had come to experience as natural, original, and under threat.

America was built by people from everywhere on Earth, including the enslaved people brought by force and the Indigenous people who were already there.

The version of America that feels "original" to you is a snapshot taken at a particular moment in a continuous process and declared to be the destination rather than a waypoint.

There is no Western country whose current character is not the product of the exact process you want to stop.

You want to freeze the film at the frame that feels most like home.

Every generation before you wanted to freeze it at a different frame.

And the film kept moving.

It will keep moving.

That is not a threat.

That is just what history does.

The same Western governments you want to protect from "third world migration" spent centuries in the Third World.

They did not go as tourists.

They built systems of extraction that transferred wealth from those countries to these ones.

The infrastructure gap, the institutional gap, the development gap between the Global South and the Global North is not a natural feature of geography.

It is the documented result of specific policies, maintained over specific decades, by specific governments.

That wealth transfer built the hospitals, the universities, the roads, the pension systems, and the standard of living that make Western countries attractive to migrants in the first place.

The destination is built from what was taken from the origin.

And now you’re telling me that the people from the origin, following the wealth that came from their countries to the countries it went to, are the destructive element in this story.

Not the extraction.

Not the deliberate underdevelopment.

Not the coups, the structural adjustment programs, or the trade rules written to benefit one side.

The people.

Always, in this argument, the people.

The wealth moves freely.

Capital moves freely.

Corporations move freely across every border on Earth, chasing cheaper labor and lower taxes.

But the humans who were made poor by those movements must stay where the poverty is.

That arrangement is not natural.

It was built.

By the same civilization now talking about "destruction."

The most instructive thing about that map is what it does with East Asia.

China and neighboring countries are coded purple: above 105.

This is presented as confirmation that the map measures something real and biological, since it shows variation that isn't simply "white good, nonwhite bad."

But China in 1950, before the economic transformation, before universal education, before the nutrition transition, had test score profiles that looked nothing like today's.

The scores rose as the environment changed.

Exactly as the Flynn Effect predicts.

Exactly as the environmental hypothesis predicts.

And exactly as the genetic hypothesis cannot explain, because the genes of the Chinese population did not change between 1950 and 2000.

The map's defenders want to use current East Asian scores as proof the map is not racist.

What those scores actually prove is that environment drives the numbers, which destroys the biological interpretation of every other number on the map.

You cannot use the East Asian data to defend the methodology and then use the African data to argue for genetic determinism.

The methodology either works or it doesn't.

If it works, it proves environment matters most.

If it doesn't work, the whole map goes in the bin.

Either way, the biological conclusion doesn't survive.

The Flynn Effect.

In the 20th century, average IQ scores rose by approximately 30 points across the developed world.

30 points. In one century. In populations whose genetic makeup did not change.

If IQ were primarily a biological property fixed by genetics, this is impossible.

Genes do not move that fast. Evolution does not work on a hundred-year timescale.

What changed was environment.

Nutrition improved. Lead was removed from gasoline and paint. Schooling became universal. Visual and abstract reasoning became more common in daily life.

The scores followed the environment.

This is the Flynn Effect, named after researcher James Flynn, and it is one of the most replicated findings in all of psychometrics.

It tells you something important: the distance between a population scoring 70 and a population scoring 100 on an IQ test is not the distance between two biologically distinct categories of human.

It is the distance between two environments.

Change the environment. The scores change.

They already did. In every country where the environment changed.

That map is not a map of intelligence.

It is a map of what happens to test scores when you systematically destroy a population's access to nutrition, stable schooling, and economic security for several generations and then hand them a pencil.

The countries coded darkest red on that map are, without exception, the countries most thoroughly extracted by European colonialism.

The Congo. Sierra Leone. Mozambique. Mali.

These are not coincidences sitting next to each other on a map.

These are the predictable, measurable, documented consequences of specific historical events being laundered into a biological argument by people who need the consequences to look like causes.

The map doesn't show you African intelligence.

It shows you the invoice for European colonialism, repackaged as a nature documentary.
