Indian, liberal. Nurturing ambitions to start social businesses to tackle the problems with school education, pollution and decent living.

“The liberal left biggest problem isn’t that they are wrong. Their biggest problem is that they are dull. Dull as a doorknob. They’ve got no story to tell, nor even any language to convey it in.” - love these words by @rutgerbregman

Absolutely livid with @hondachennai! Took my car in for a service issue and they promised it would be fixed in 3 days. It's been 10 DAYS and they had the audacity to lie and say my car was ready. What kind of customer service is this? Unacceptable! #Honda #CustomerServiceFail

@SamsungIndia I already DM’ed https://t.co/7yyM7D8RJk.

@SamsungIndia I have been speaking to your support since June 11th 2022 in order to resolve an issue with my TV and they have been absolutely abysmal. Every day I only hear "the system is updated, but we have not gotten reply". Please help. My support reference # is 4350445014

[Arvind Neelakantan @airwinds]

@SamsungIndia It’s going to be two months now @SamsungIndia. What was promised to be resolved in 15 days is still hanging. Very little support from #Samsung #India. The support team is not helpful and even worse, incompetent. #SamsungIndia

[Arvind Neelakantan @airwinds]

@SamsungIndia Can you please let me know if this is Beijing resolved? @SamsungIndia

@SamsungIndia DM'ing you with more details. In short, my 4 year old Samsung TV's display suddenly went off. Samsung service person said no replacement part was available & Samsung would buy the TV for a depreciated value in 15 days. That was on 11th June. It's Aug 19th. It's still not resolved

[Arvind Neelakantan @airwinds]

@SamsungSupport Thank you. I have reached out to @SamsungIndia for help

Before every one of their movies we see a PSA about the dangers of tobacco. It’s quite #heartless that @ajaydevgn @iamsrk @akshaykumar @SrBachchan and @RanveerOfficial keep appearing in @VimalElaichi and #KamlaPasand ads (disguised but is quite clearly tobacco) during #IPL2022

I am better able to understand my parents and my family who are ardent #BJP supporters

[Arvind Neelakantan @airwinds]

My quest for the last few months has been to find how the right wing mind works. @rahulroushan’s #Sanghi book was a poor generalisation and wallowed in self pity than to provide anything insightful. Subsequently, I started reading @JonHaidt’s “The Righteous mind” 1/2

[Arvind Neelakantan @airwinds]

Now this is a book that provided me with great direction. It has fantastic insight into how human minds work. While the context is very much America-centric, it can very easily be applied to an Indian setting. 2/2

@chennaicorp #electricity board is absolutely terrific! A transformer burst in my locality at 9:45 PM. Within 1 min of complaint (at 1912) they cut off the power supply to the area. The EB technician arrived within 5 mins, doused the fire and within 30 mins power was back! #Proud

“... I hear.”

Dude, you claim to be a journalist. Do some basic research. @rahulroushan

[Arvind Neelakantan @airwinds]

With @rahulroushan’s background as a satirist, I am almost fully convinced that his book #SanghiWhoNeverWentToShakha is a satire on narrow-mindedness and having a Frog-In-The-Well view of India and the world. If not, then the reasons for his right-leaning are quite childish.
