On the occasion of the 43rd session of @UNESCO General Conference currently taking place in Samarkand, Lithuania's delegates - President of the National UNESCO Commission Agnė Jasinavičiūtė-Trakimienė and Aistė Marija Macaitė, diplomat at the Permanent Delegation to UNESCO - participated in the Tree Planting Ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan.

EUDA participants visited the Humanitarian Assistance Centre in Przemyśl, temporary safe haven for Ukrainian war refugees. Then, they visited the Przemyśl Railway Station, crucial arrival point for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees since 24 February 2022.

An inspiring meeting today with Mr @wojtekbakun, the Mayor of #Przemyśl, a city that opened its heart and homes to those fleeing the war in Ukraine, becoming the "world capital of volunteers". Przemyśl was awarded the title of Rescuer City by the President of Ukraine.
