Exposure to extreme heat can be dangerous, especially for older adults and people living with chronic illnesses.
A simple phone call, a glass of water, or a quick visit can make a big difference. 💙

@IsraeliPM Hadn't he been sent to Lebanon he would have lived happily in Israel. Everybody in the world is at loss because of this war. Praying it ends soon
Deeply saddened to see the anguish of Hon’ble Rashtrapati Ji. The office of the President represents the dignity of our Republic and must always be treated with the highest respect and courtesy.
In a vibrant democracy, constitutional institutions are above politics, and it is our collective duty to uphold their sanctity.

An incredible milestone to wrap up 2025!
India is now home to over 2 lakh government-recognised startups, with over 44,000 entities recognised this year alone, the highest in a year since the inception of the @StartupIndia initiative.
What makes this success sweeter is that nearly 48% of these startups have at least one woman director/partner. These startups have also helped generate over 21 lakh direct jobs.
PM @NarendraModi ji's clarion call for an #Aatmanirbhar #ViksitBharat has garnered strong support from our budding entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors.
The feat has been accomplished with:
🔸₹25,320+ Cr capital invested in over 1,350 startups by Alternative Investment Funds under the Fund of Funds for Startups Scheme.
🔸₹775+ Cr granted under the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups.
🔸Over ₹585 Cr approved to 3,200+ startups applications by incubators under the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme.
🔸More than 16,400 new patent applications filed by startups.
🔸Over 34,800 recognised startups being onboarded on @GeM_India, giving them a level playing field to compete and succeed.
As we prepare to enter a new year, this spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship will continue to drive growth, opportunities and prosperity for all.
Impressive statistic.
It brought back to me a vivid childhood memory:
Back in 1962, during the war with China, the government created a National Defence Fund and appealed to citizens to donate gold and jewellery for the defence effort. From information available on the net I saw that gold worth thousands of crores in today’s prices were collected for the fund. According to online sources, Punjab alone, apparently donated 252 kg gold
I clearly recall, as a seven-year-old, standing on the street in Mumbai (Bombay, at the time) with my mother when government trucks drove by, megaphones blaring appeals for citizens to donate their jewellery for the nation’s defence.
I can still picture her quietly gathering some of her gold bangles and necklaces, placing them in a cloth thaila, and handing them to the volunteers on the truck.
Would voluntary acts of that scale, spirit and trust still happen in today’s world?
That memory of 1962 reminds me that a country’s national resilience ultimately depends not just on policy tools, but on the collective will of its people.
Due to a massive earthquake that occurred in the Pacific Ocean, a Tsunami Warning is in effect for those living in Hawaii. Best wishes to my good friend and Andhra Pradesh CM Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu Garu. It is commendable how he is tirelessly working for the development of AP, with a focus on futuristic sectors. Praying for his long and healthy life.
