@DocPainter Part of it goes back to being able to admit when you're wrong so that they can see you be brave and then do the same and feel safe about it. If this is established, they'll open up and trust you academically and as someone that wants the best for them, because you do! #ksdpd

@DocPainter I have found that once you find people that you trust, you can share those "OMG, what just happened" stories AND ask for constructive feedback...what's not helpful, is telling stories to just complain and blame someone else (the students, colleagues, admin) for the failure #khspd

@MegTaylor4 @DocPainter Yes!! Modeling that behavior for them is so important... especially important with teenagers, I've found. They respect adults so much more when the adult isn't a know-it-all and then they learn how to act when they don't know something. #ksdpd

@RomonaMiller I'd even suggest more than discipline and treatment... What about prevention? Homeroom presentations about the health effects and how they're being manipulated by these companies...?
