@AvonandsomerRob@MattyDread Well lots of EVs are now 8 years old. Where are stats on battery replacement? I have never heard of anyone doing one, but im not in trade etc.
@CallumLyon Costs all gone up for those businesses, lots in tax. Our wages should have gone up but economy too flat. No new major export businesses as tax too high. Insufficient infra / housing / office / industrial space created. Massive elec costs. Its a downward spiral. Not just us tho.
@AndyatAuto Wonder what proportion of BEV is fleet sales (and what proportion of BEV is fleet). Many i know have new BEVs through company where they never previously bought new cars (myself included).
@Timoldland Unsurprisingly it was likely a few deg warmer on the a13 with 1000s of vehicles on it and hot tarmac that is was at the weather station....
@John_Stepek@Finumus1 Depends how it works. If its purely on value nationally then it will hugely change the property market. If its based on value locally (like council tax) then its just a higher council tax for losing stamp duty, which would seem ok. No point in separate mansion tax then.
@Timoldland@Gypsypup13 Also its about 20 mins often for 2 people, plus travel time (tho they tend to do houses in same street in groups). Youre right, can always do it yourself. No chanc3 you do it in 20 mins
