School shootings are a fact of life? My daughter Jaime's murder was a fact of life? Fuck you @JDVance, you miserable pr--k. I can't wait to make your exit from having any say in our public safety a fact of life. I can't wait to vote for @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz.
@gpgomez Take lots of pictures of each precious thing, and find a good home where they’ll be treasured, when you can. It’s so hard, I know! You’ll have a photo book at the end to look back and remember.
Palestinian Christian leader @MuntherIsaac, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church in Bethlehem, is in the U.S. to push faith leaders to oppose U.S. support for Israel's war on Gaza. "If you're silent knowing how your money is being spent, that means you approve."
The US is funding the genocide. Faith leaders must speak up. Words of "concern" and void calls for peace are not enough. Speak truth to power. Silence is complicity.

Vice President Harris has pushed the rest of the Biden administration to more heavily consider Palestinian suffering in its response to Israel’s war in Gaza, speaking more forcefully and empathetically than President Biden about the Palestinian plight. https://t.co/N1k54yC1m0
Man, Trumpers are running scared. @KamalaHarris has made them lose their damn minds. They are spewing so many stupid attacks and conspiracies. Let’s go through some of them, shall we…
If this can happen to a president with secret service, if this can happen in Parkland with a cop assigned to our campus, if this can happen in Uvalde with hundreds of police.
STOP TALKING ABOUT GOOD GUYS WITH GUNS AND START DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THE GUNS.
They still debate if it is a genocide or not! The images and videos of the massacre in Khan Yunis today are too brutal and gruesome to share. It is hell in Gaza. No one can endure this. It must stop. Lord have mercy
Many people are trying hard to make it sound like all the students and protestors calling for a ceasefire are antisemitic and pro-Hamas in order to discredit them.
Every protest I’ve been a part of has been clearly grounded in love and nonviolence, with Jews, Christians, Muslims and others all standing together against this genocide, and standing against all forms of hatred and violence including the attack by Hamas on Oct. 7. Organizing is hard and imperfect… it is impossible to control every person’s behavior or message, but organizers work strategically to stay grounded in love and disciplined in nonviolence.
Also, if you find yourself being more critical of the people protesting the genocide than the people committing the genocide, something is wrong.
Speaking out against the genocide in Gaza is not antisemitic — it is loving, humane, decent. And speaking out against the violence of Oct. 7 by Hamas is not anti-Palestinian or anti-Arab - it is loving, humane, decent. Every Israeli life is precious. And every Palestinian life is just as precious.
Ceasefire now. Release the hostages. End the violence. More killing will not stop the killing.
When it is a battle against "evil", "darkness" and "barbarism", then a genocide becomes righteous in this twisted logic. This is the utmost dehumanization of Palestinians that we witnessed throughout this war
