Found this photo I took from June 2011. It’s an advert from @ComedyCentral at the time just before Wimbledon and a year before Andy Murray won his first major. Sums up how he single handedly changed how we all think about British tennis imo. Thanks @andy_murray
@EastMidRailway turned up an hour before the train. Was told there’s plenty of time for the Sheffield train and to “walk around and pass time” by your staff. Turned up 20 mins before and you’ve overbooked and couldn’t board. Brilliant. Communication about what’s going is awful.
@EastMidRailway A line for people with reserved seats would’ve helped. Hindsight is a wonderful thing I know. Instead of the advice I got from your staff which was just “seat reservations don’t guarantee you a seat. It’s in the terms and conditions”. Just seems very unorganised and frustrating.
@EastMidRailway There was more people in the queue than the capacity of the train and we heard one announcement that they were checking capacity. After that no updates and the train left. We’re now on the next train but it is chaos and no reservations are showing so it’s a free for all.
@ThreeUKSupport who do I talk to about incorrect data charges abroad? I got charged for being in Turkey when I was in Rhodes Greece. Granted they’re near and i get it, mast wise. But still. I wasn’t there.
