Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Raaji'un!
I convey our heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives, associates, colleagues, and the entire Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria community, following the passing of Dr Sani Umar Bebeji, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law.
Dr Bebeji, a distinguished legal scholar and administrator, reportedly passed away on Saturday. His death has left colleagues, students, alumni, and the wider university community in profound grief.
Dr. Sani Umar Bebeji served as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and also as Assistant Dean, Undergraduate. He was an accomplished scholar, researcher, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) specialist whose passion for teaching and mentoring transformed the lives of countless students at ABU and beyond.
Though I did not have the privilege of meeting him personally, I was told by one of his students, who is very close and dear to me, about the kind of man he was. He was described as a mentor who believed in his students, challenged them to exceed their expectations, celebrated their successes, and stood by them in moments of disappointment. His patience, humility, and unwavering commitment to raising the next generation of lawyers left an indelible mark on all who were privileged to learn from him.
His legacy lives on in the many lives he shaped, the lawyers he trained, and the values he instilled.
News of his passing came as a shock to many, especially as he was reportedly active on his Facebook account shortly before the news broke.
The same student also attested that throughout his career, Dr Bebeji was known for his dedication to teaching, mentorship, and service to the Faculty of Law and to Ahmadu Bello University. His contributions to legal education and student development earned him the respect of colleagues and of generations of students. She further attested to his moral discipline, generosity, kindness to all students, and strong academic credentials.
His death is a significant loss to the university community, to the legal profession, and to Nigeria. May Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, expand his grave, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and give his loved ones the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.

@Abdulilu1@grok Read it from one psychology report that this means 'One is telling the truth as the gesture express confidence and attentiveness'. There is nothing to worry on Boss
@Necessary_Cho This is guy is f*cking fool. To the best of the little knowledge I know, Prayer changes Destiny talkless of this Nigeria's temporary state of insecurity.
Note: Its temporary because I believe that Nigeria will be great again.
