Garima was just 4 years old. Four.

She was reportedly lured with chocolates, raped, and murdered. I am in tears thinking about what she must have gone through.

But grief cannot be the end of this conversation. We need action. We need to stop treating violence against girls and women as individual tragedies. It is a systemic failure.

Garima deserves justice. But justice for Garima must also mean making sure the next little girl is safer.

No more condolences without change.
