📚 Hosted by @swahilipothub & organised by ICOMOS, this conference focused on promoting the sustainable conservation of African built heritage. It aimed to provide a platform to support African local communities and heritage professionals, foster networking, and advance strategies to enhance global knowledge of the region’s heritage.

👉 Throughout the event, ICOMOS members & experts delivered presentations and held workshops on the conference’s key topics, including promotion strategies, risk preparedness, climate change, decolonial approaches and the link between heritage and identity.
