Happy to share recent work from our lab published in the Life Science Alliance - Targeting TREM2 signaling shows limited impact on cerebrovascular calcification | Life Science Alliance (https://t.co/IzZ8Pjmk4C).
Very happy to see our work finally in print 🥳😊😀Learn more how aging and senescent cells impairs nerve functions in the heart

We are looking for a suitable candidate to follow up on #microglia migration (https://t.co/XgkDjaBzrV) and interaction with the surrounding white matter micro-environment. Please RT.
In our recent study https://t.co/4DXaIOVwNc, in addition to vascular changes in brains of Xpr1 +/- mice, we also observed “dark microglia” and microglia with fibrillar inclusions. What are these microglia doing – yet to figure out...#microglia#pathology

Exciting🥳 Our new study in Cell shows that our skull is a gateway for diagnosing & potentially treating brain diseases such as Alzheimer's & stroke. Imagine a future where a portable sensor on the skull can monitor brain health! @CellCellPress https://t.co/gXZzgOv8Ps 🧵👇🏼with🔈
I’ve learned from a decade on this app to not accept the superficial way things are presented here, especially when someone’s words are being used against them. And so I watched the whole session for context. And I’m glad I did. Because in context it’s way worse.
I had a wonderful time last night with these two brilliant vascular scientists @annikakeller_ & @JoannaKalucka!
Hope that touching Greyfriars Bobby’s nose will bring you even more success, grant money and papers in the future! 😁
Let’s catch up soon!

That’s a wrap on #CVB2023! Great meeting, learned a lot about the more clinical side of cerebral vascular biology, heard a little bit of choroid plexus research (not enough!!) & got to know Sweden a bit.
