Using my inaugural tweet to share our bioRxiv preprint that reveals cortical (V1) amplification as animals learn to detect novel 🎇optogenetically-evoked patterns of🧠activity. @NIH @HistedLab.

I will be presenting this work next week @OptoGRC with co-author @hmdougla.

When you stimulate the brain, animals learn to detect the new activity pattern, they get way better with practice, and the brain changes to accomodate the new processing.
