My Pallete Studio ( mypalatte_studio ) shared a video featuring Captain Sandeep Puri, a veteran pilot with 46 years of service in the Indian Air Force and IndiGo, completed his final flight as captain in an emotional farewell. His co-pilot daughter, Aastha Puri, introduced him onboard through a heartfelt Hindi poetic tribute, marking a rare and touching father-daughter aviation moment. Crew and passengers witnessed the celebration of his long career as he addressed everyone on board before retirement.

without even looking at the flight plans/ path or weather parameters, let me only say this, having spent 38 years flying,

“No Pilot/ AIRLINE would EVER take any such risk, regardless of which airline or how incompetent we think he/ they are.”

“He/She are trained professionals & values his/her life as much as you do yours, they have families to get back to.”

Every airlines flight plan has alternates & every Pilot & FO knows the threshold limit for holding and the SOP for go arounds & weather minima.

It’s also possible that you misheard the announcement or maybe the pilot misspoke / or gave a rough detail of holding time.

As per FR there seems to only be one attempted landing approach, plz see @himmat01 reply to you. (FR image attached)

Also let me assure you that it’s impossible for an aircraft landing with only 1 or 2 min fuel left, what you describe would be gliding without engines then, which clearly was not the case.

It’s a matter of concern that Pax & crew were puking 🤮 (allegedly) and that I am sure will be looked into @IndiGo6E @ChhaviLeekha

Driving in dense fog? These tips should help!

- Prefer low beam
- Switch on the fog lamps
- Try not to exceed 25 kmph
- Prefer looking down at the road and keep one hand on the handbrake (I do that while driving an AT)
- If reflectors are there with white markings, just follow that
- Don’t stop on the road, no matter what! Until you find some open parking space (petrol pump or mall) to buy some time or sleep in the car. Prefer using an indicator before leaving the road gradually.
- Prefer rolling down driver side window 20% to be aware of the surroundings, horn, hear other vehicles.
- Maintain safe distance if you are following any vehicle and mind the brake.
- Don’t ego drive after seeing others overtaking you, they won’t pay your hospital bills.
- Avoid listening to music, attending calls, drink driving; obviously it’s suicidal. Utmost focus is important.
- Drive in fog only in an emergency, try to avoid as much as possible. In my case, me & my Brother are coming back from the gym as fog came suddenly.
