3. The scale of under-reporting suggested from cities like Mumbai and Chennai was modest. But with the caveat that all excess deaths are not from covid, the excess mortality in Apr-May 2021 in MP was *42* times the official covid death toll.

My nephew who is almost 1.5 years old thinks wearing a mask is like sporting an accessory. He can barely speak full sentences but cries for real whenever someone tries to remove the mask. Dont know if it’s a happy or a sad thing.

The scariest part of Covid is how much goes unreported:
- The second wave has reached even the most remote areas of Coorg.
- A secluded village with no motorable road in Himachal has 3 cases 😢
Common theme: They're not being reported, & folks are restoring to home remedies.
