I think we should talk about what’s appropriate in decor, like:
- neon colors can be over-stimulating
- choose fonts that are more legible than cute
- ask yourself: “is it for my students, or my Instagram?” (1/4)

Ms. Blancas went viral for this video in 2018. In Oct. she got Covid and spent the next 7 weeks in the ICU. She ran out of sick days & lost her health insurance. A GoFundMe was set up for medical expenses. She passed away on Sunday. A #1stgrade teacher at 35yrs old, gone.
