“Artificial intelligence has the power to transform lives and strengthen economies. Africa is well-positioned to contribute to the digital economy. By 2050, our continent will have the largest, fastest-growing workforce in the world. There are many success stories about what our young people are doing on the continent with artificial intelligence. We have to invest in them. It will be a win-win for everyone. The bottom line, is that for A.I. to serve humanity as a whole, we must get it right in Africa and everywhere else.” President Kagame | #AIforGood Global Summit 2026
“Today, connectivity is no longer the end goal. We are now transitioning to the era of data-driven growth. Artificial intelligence is the common denominator that will redefine healthcare, education and energy, among many other sectors. As a commission, our mission is to ensure this transformation does not widen existing divisions.
The task ahead of us is urgent, but we will face challenges. The objective isn’t just to have a conversation. It is to ensure everything we agree to do, gets translated into tangible and practical outcomes.” President Kagame
President Kagame joined fellow Co-Chair Marc Benioff and Vice-Chair Doreen Bogdan-Martin for a fireside chat marking the launch of the AI for Good Global Commission. He then chaired the Commission’s inaugural meeting alongside Marc Benioff and Doreen Bogdan-Martin.
The high-level initiative brings together 44 commissioners to identify practical ways to harness artificial intelligence to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

The training focuses on operationalizing District Command Posts to strengthen disaster preparedness, coordination and emergency response capacities. Participants are gaining practical skills in incident coordination, communication systems, disaster data interpretation, and the use of early warning and response systems.
District Command Posts, established during the first phase in nine districts (Burera, Gakenke, Musanze, Nyabihu, Rubavu, Rutsiro, Karongi, Ngororeroand Nyaruguru), serve as critical hubs for disaster risk management and emergency coordination.
Opening the training, the Director General of Response and Recovery Operations; ACP Egide Mugwiza, emphasized that fully operational Command Posts are vital for timely decision making and effective responses to emergencies. Strengthening these capacities is key to protecting communities and saving lives.

#Rwanda _ #USA : Urgent 🛑🚨‼️Les États-Unis et le Rwanda signent un protocole d'accord concernant la coopération stratégique dans le domaine du nucléaire civil.
They tried to silence a generation, but instead, they raised one that refuses to break.
Children who once knew only loss, fear, and emptiness grew into voices of courage, hands that build, and hearts that refuse to hate.
Today, they stand in the light, not because the past was easy
but because they refused to let it define the end. #Kwibuka32
SAD TRUTH
"In 1994, children witnessed the unimaginable. They saw their parents, who had always seemed invincible, hunted and killed........for many children, the genocide did not only take away loved ones; it also took away their sense of safety and trust in the world'' #Kwibuka32
