行动的三种等级：

1. 至高的（superb）：兼具「能」与「无能」的行动
2. 有用的（useful）：成熟的、负责任的行动
3. 不确定的（tentative）：利他动机的行动

无能（impotence）往往暗示了我们有「应该想要」的感觉，而不是纯粹「想要」的感觉。「应该」本身就包含了「不想要」的元素。

愿景（vision）是：

1. 一种能力：the ability to see
2. 一个视域：the area you can see
3. 一份主观期待：an idea of what you think something should be like

地球之子是液压技术的体现。所有的结构中都存在张力和压力，这两种力总是会达到一种平衡的状态。
