I met a guy online once and we only had conversations on the phone. No Skype, FaceTime, or shared photos of ourselves outside of what was already public. It took months for us to meet in person even though we only lived ~30 miles apart. If he ever went to even a smidge of these lengths to try to debunk my existence, there’s no way I’d EVER meet up with him, or show him my face to prove to him I was real.

But he’s not insecure or creepy, so he didn’t. And then we got married.
