It’s been some radio silence on here for a while but I thought you were all due a small life update.

I have left my studies at Strathclyde and instead commence a Merchant Navy Cadetship where I will be studying to become qualified as a third officer!

It’s been some radio silence on here for a while but I thought you were all due a small life update.

University just wasn’t for me and I could write lots about how the system is stacked against working class Northern Irish students but that’s a conversation for another day.
I’m excited to start this new chapter and gain some valuable knowledge in an industry I can see myself in!

Over the next three years I will spend time between a training college in Fleetwood and my various sea phases all whilst maintaining my own little base in Glasgow which I’ve chosen as my home for now.

19.00 flight cancelled as soon as I got through security, booked onto another flight at 21.30 with no idea if this will actually leave. Aldergrove is chaos
