There is a black box warning on low dose vaginal estrogen (VE) products. See below. It states, "warning: endometrial cancer, cardiovascular disorders, probable dementia." Low dose VE has NEVER been show to cause any of the above.

@EricTopol @DrLauraEsserman Indeed. Not all cancers are alike and low risk prostate cancer will take at least 15 years to kill you. Probably much more. So treatment is not recommended up front for most men. Or shouldn’t be. That is why the push to rename it, so less men wrongly get upfront treatment.

@AshleyGWinter Has anyone worried about the penis with all this vaginal estrogen (asking for a friend of course). Any risk of over sensitivity? Over compassion? Too much communication?
