Today's letter from United Utilities is untrue.

"Your bill will typically increase by around 5% from 1 April"

But my recent water bill shows a very different picture:
13.8% increase from March to May 2026, split into two stages.

I tried online chat, and they told me to phone.

I phoned, and the automated voice sent a link to the same non-working page on the web!

@NatWest_Help I changed my credit card DD details to a new bank, but you failed to take the payment.
When you notified me you'd not received the payment, I paid manually.

You've now charged me interest, affecting my credit score.
And I wonder if the same will happen next month.

The new remote is not as easy to hold and operate as the older one, which, sadly, is not compatible.

Do you have an alternative remote control that might be easier for her?

Holding a button is harder for someone who is frail.
