Heathrow has held the first meeting of the Heathrow Local Growth Taskforce, chaired by Lord Blunkett. As Heathrow embarks on the largest private investment programme in its history, this taskforce will ensure that investment delivers meaningful benefits for the local community, including:

▫️ Strengthening the local supply chain,
▫️Expanding education and employment opportunities, and
▫️Improving surface access.

We’re delighted to collaborate with so many of our valued Heathrow partners from local authorities, businesses, education providers, and industry on this mission.

Together, we’re committed to maximising economic opportunities for the local community around Heathrow Airport – both today and for the future.
