Iran’s delegation in Pakistan includes Mohammad Jafari Sahraroudi. He was the commander of the death squad that on July 13, 1989, assassinated Kurdish leader Dr. Abdul Rahman Ghassemlou and two of his aides during peace negotiations in Vienna, Austria.

Austrian police issued an international arrest warrant for him on December 22, 1989. In order to cover up his terrorist and criminal record Sahraroudi has been using the name “Jafari” for many years and has removed “Sahraroudi” from his last name.

This is Mohammed Reza Shah of Iran before 1979.

The father of Reza Pahlavi, the same man who now wants to rule Iran and fool the West into thinking Iran is “occupied” by Islamists or that the current Persian Islamic regime is somehow “un-Iranian.”

Meanwhile, Iran’s system is Persian-centralized. Persians make up about 55% of the population, yet they account for 78% of high-ranking officials.

Reza Pahlavi claims Persians aren’t Muslim, yet his own father, Mohammed Reza, was a practicing Shia Muslim who visited Mecca regularly and ruled with an iron fist over minorities.

Now we live in a world where Pahlavi and his supporters are spreading propaganda and outright lies, and non-Iranians in the West are falling for it and victimizing Persians in their own country under the same regime they chose.

Let this sink in: Iran, like most of the Middle East, is majority Muslim, specifically Shia Muslim.

So if you continue to fall for their fake narrative, just know I warned you with FACTS.

On Farvardin 12, 1358 (April 1, 1979), the Kurdish nation made a historic political choice — to boycott the Islamic Republic’s referendum. Not as rejection of change, but as a demand for recognition.

That act of collective refusal was not opposition alone — it was a declaration of political agency. At a moment when Iran was redefining itself, the Kurdish nation demanded to be part of that definition on equal terms. They were ignored. The struggle that followed was the consequence.

The Kurdish boycott of April 1, 1979- remains one of the most significant political statements in modern Kurdish history. A nation that said: not without us.

History has proven them right.

A passage from Carol Prunhuber's new book on the Kurdish leader Abdul Rahman Ghassemlou and the kurdish struggle in Iran:

Helen shared her life with him stood beside him even as he led the peshmerga into the mountains against Iran’s clerical regime. But on the eve of his trip to Vienna, in a small Paris apartment, the truth was laid bare.

Ghassemlou believed opportunity had emerged after Khomeini’s death. That somewhere within the Islamic Republic, pragmatists like Rafsanjani were ready to negotiate, to resolve the Kurdish question, to bring an end to the suffering.

She knew better.

She warned him. Reminded him of history. Of betrayal. Of Simko lured into negotiations, only to be killed.

“You’re exactly what they need to eliminate,” she told him. “If you disappear, what happens to your movement?”

He dismissed her fears. Said there were others. Said she was exaggerating.

“Khomeini is dead,” he insisted. “Rafsanjani needs me.”

Her response cut through illusion with brutal clarity:

“The only thing Rafsanjani needs is your head.”

History would prove her right.

This is not just a story but a warning. A reminder that a regime built on repression does not reform through goodwill, and that trusting them blindly can carry the ultimate cost. The islamic republic will play victim and negotiate when week only to find ways to murder men of peace as they did to Ghassemlou and his successor Sharafkandi.

While Turkic ancestors were still nomadic on the Asian steppes, Kurdish roots were already being carved into stone in Anatolia. These 3,400-year-old Luwian hieroglyphs from Anatolia, reveal a direct linguistic link to modern Kurdish. A century-old state name of Turkey cannot overwrite the indigenous history of Anatolia and Mesopotamia.
