@drjoshcsimmons you could have a neighborhood barbecue and invite all your neighbors, and barbecue a variety of things that appeals to everyone and make it a potluck. this way you're not seen as an oppressor and more of a community supporter. Make sure to invite everyone from the HOA.

@LAFirstStandard @JFLATreasurer When I bought my house in 2012 my property tax was $980, last year it was $2500. After the EBR flood in 2016 properties were devalued and property taxes went down for 2016-2018 but then were re-evaluated higher in 2019 and its been increasing every year since.

@EconAdept @GoUncensored Google has already started rolling out a change where you won't be able to sideload an APK unless you are developer, they're pushing it global next year

@thecsguy @Bots just use eBay, a lot of the same products that are on a Amazon are sold on eBay, maybe not with the same shipping time and sometimes better pricing

@Corpfessions we had a saying in QA when we got tired of fixing other peoples mistakes, just let it fail. But then it looks like we're part of the problem too so, at some point, you have to draw on the line.

@aakashgupta Everyone has a chimney, put a beacon on the chimney. and there you have a Lofi solution for your tower network. The need for lots of towers diminishes with a subset of installations in countless neighborhoods they act as clusters inside the few towers that you do need in between

@TruthWarrior091 don't forget about the flock cameras in the parking lot that add your car to your profile, they know who you are before you get out of your vehicle

@gothburz I find it interesting that one of the driving factors was to capture the initial text entry before someone edits text to be searched. The commercial application about a product not yet released. There is more to come. Thanks for teaching me a new word: anthropomorphize.

@IndieGameJoe I worked at a Blockbuster and Tower Records and video for a long time. I am continually impressed that the current generation is so enamored with what I grew up with. A friend of mine 20 years younger has over 10,000 tapes himself.
