केंद्र सरकारच्या चार नवीन कामगार संहितांमुळे देशातील कामगार व्यवस्थेत मोठा बदल घडणार आहे. 29 जुने कायदे एकत्र करून केलेल्या या सुधारणांचा दावा जरी कामगार कल्याण आणि व्यवसाय सुलभता असा असला, तरी प्रत्यक्षात यामुळे कामगारांचे हक्क, वेतनरचना आणि रोजगारसुरक्षा यावर थेट परिणाम होण्याची शक्यता आहे.

300 पेक्षा कमी कामगार असलेल्या उद्योगांना कामगार कपातीसाठी पूर्वपरवानगीची अट सैल झाल्याने नोकरीची सुरक्षितता कमी होईल का, हा मोठा प्रश्न उपस्थित झाला आहे. संपापूर्वी नोटीस बंधनकारक केल्याने संघटनांची ताकद मर्यादित होऊ शकते. दुसरीकडे, “50% बेसिक वेतन” नियमामुळे PF आणि ग्रॅच्युइटी वाढणार असली, तरी हातात मिळणारा पगार कमी होण्याची दाट भीतीही व्यक्त होत आहे.

असंघटित क्षेत्रातील कोट्यवधी कामगारांपर्यंत या सुधारणांचे फायदे खरोखर पोहोचतील का? हा अजूनही अनुत्तरित प्रश्न आहे. गिग आणि प्लॅटफॉर्म कामगारांना संरक्षण देण्याची भाषा जोरात असली, तरी अंमलबजावणीची स्पष्टता अजूनही पुर्ण अपुरी आहे.

थोडक्यात, ही संहिता 'कामगार संरक्षण आणि उद्योग सुलभता' यांच्यातील समतोल साधण्याचा प्रयत्न आहे. मात्र हा समतोल कागदावर नाही, तर प्रत्यक्ष अंमलबजावणीत ठरणार आहे.

आपल्या मते हे बदल कामगारांसाठी दिलासा देणारे आहेत की नव्या अडचणींची ही सुरुवात असेल ?
