A group of academics claim they’ve put a price tag on the cost to pension funds and other market participants who adjust their stock-bond portfolios like clockwork on regular schedule https://t.co/whYP0UO0iR
Hi #EconTwitter! I’m preparing a class on the Econ of Local Governments. What are your favorite papers that deal somehow with local governments, broadly speaking? (E.g. local public goods, taxation, cities/neighborhoods, place-based policies, local politics, decentralization)1/2
My research focuses on empirical asset pricing and macro-finance.
I am on the academic job market 2021/2022. For more detail about me and my work, visit my website: https://t.co/EYDcv1Vws4

[Short thread] 👇🏼
On average, today, women in the EU stopped earning their wage until the end of the year because of the current #GenderPayGap of 14.1%
Let us value women’s work and remunerate them justly.
There is the moral duty to close the gap.

Thread on "In Search of the Origins of Financial Fluctuations" by @xgabaix and @rkoijen. One of the most exciting agendas in asset pricing. See video (https://t.co/2ZuSPWi4f3). They estimate $1b investment in market -> $10b increase in price. How? 1/
