@timkawakami Worth mentioning that it's far easier to NOT grow/mature if you're a billionaire NFL owner (lots and lots of examples of those). They're not accountable to anyone. So credit to Jed, who I was pretty skeptical of post the Harbaugh years.

@timkawakami This blows my mind. Moving from a terrible owner (Cohan) to a good one (Lacob) has made every NBA team incredibly richer, both directly and indirectly. They should *want* competent ownership not even altruistically, just to line their own pockets.

@timkawakami It does seem like you have long felt is that Fisher is simply incompetent. One issue I have with journalists is they don't say that directly. I think you felt that about Singletary and Tomsula - they weren't up to the task, and it's obvious - but not to us! Why not say that?

@timkawakami Amazed there isn't a deep-dive investigative article on this. What's the rate of major injuries relative to grass? What's the cost of re-sodding versus these injuries? Where's the NFLPA and what's the owners' excuse? Unlike Thurs/17 games, this doesn't mean an increase in revenue
