Another interesting tidbit is that there was onward transmission to healthcare workers after exposure to the contaminated product during surgery or draining Tb wounds. We are working on a secondary transmission paper so stay tuned :).

But also shows the limitations of screening donors with IGRA tests which is why we strongly recommended testing of tissues when donors have risk factors for TB.
