now that the adrenaline has worn off, i do have one issue with ody. odysseus is originally much more complex. i liked how the film explored his guilt, yet i wish it also highlighted his cruel and cunning side. the nuance that achaeans thrive in moral grayness is lacking here.

but i understand it might clash with nolan's theme.

@fruitsavoy i've only read robert fagles and emily wilson. tbh, wilson one is easier to read, but i feel like fagles is more emotional and raw. jadi aku personally prefer fagles. both of them termasuk modern translation, jadi keduanya masih ga sulit untuk dipahami.

@osterreich04 most of his ruthless actions were actually adapted in the movie, but the nuance is just not there. homer ody would give us more mixed feelings on his character bcs all his actions were always deliberate. he was often referred as "mastermind like zeus", "great tactician", etc.
