hey, as the creator of Sign in with Ethereum here are my thoughts
1) the company charged by ENS and EF with leading Sign in with Ethereum took the grant money and abandoned the project without even finalizing the EIP, which is why little happened with SIWE in the last few years (to their eternal shame). so a few months ago my new company @ethidorg took it over for free, got the EIP finalized, recreated all the brand assets, and have started getting integrations again --> @signinethereum
2) Login with Wallet is bland and lame, Sign in with Ethereum is an EIP auth standard that combines with ENS (for usernames and profiles) for a full auth+username+profile experience
3) "User forgets account" much less likely if they name their wallets with ENS. Also, SIWE is now been extended to have persisting sessions
4) "How to do i email them?" You can still require them to verify an email on the first login if you want
5) Much more work is needed for both SIWE development and promotion, but my company is now working on it 💪💪
I like it when you ask a technical question, the AI makes up an answer, then cites human discussions as the source.
How about using the technical specification as a source instead of consensus?
🚨BREAKING: British veteran breaks down live on TV over state of the country:
"Rows and rows of white tombs for what? A country of today? No, I'm sorry. The sacrifice wasn't worth the result.
I fought for freedom, and it's darn-sight worse now than when I fought."
@BrianMork Budskab > afsender.
Hvis bestemte personer kun sender støj, så har vi en mute-knap til dem.
Hvem der påstår at være bag en profil (for hvor svært er det at forfalske så Brian respekterer dem?) betyder præcis nål.
So, there's this asset which does nothing, has several technical, social and economic issues being ignored by everyone, and which has been selling for unreasonable amounts due to several disingenuous marketing campaigns and lies.
Everything beyond $5 is a joke.
@EthereanVibin 🖐🏼 These concernooors can go sit on a cactus.
Price isn't value and the value of Ethereum scares the shit out of every last evil rich mthrfckr out there.
@valmianski@rplevy@MasterTimBlais It's not. You're concluding based on a low resolution understanding of the world.
Humility grows with understanding, but Dunning-Kruger implies that those with a low resolution understanding of the world won't be likely to agree, so here we are 😇
Bad question.
Computers deterministically execute sets of instructions and that's why they're technically incapable of intelligence, sentience or consciousness in their current form.
You're anthropomorphizing, human.
Most people still holding $eth are likely ready to go down with the ship; at least I am.
Ethereum is a bastion of freedom and self-sovereignty in an increasingly controlled world.
No amount of number go down could get me to sell. Even with most of my net worth in eth, I would hold it to literal zero.
I would rather take a chance on eth and be wrong than give up hope on the most inspiring invention of my generation.
Come zero or valhalla, I'll be here.
Believe in somΞthing.
