So, aged 96, crooner Tony Bennett has died.
I'll never forget the night he serenaded 5,000 of us, in George Square, as part of the 2003 Jazz Festival.
He charmed us, told us stories of previous visits, he made us laugh, and dance, but, more importantly, he let us singalong...
The Glasgow Garden Festival Coca-Cola Roller as you'd see it today: renamed 'Wipeout' at Pleasurewood Hills, Suffolk and instantly recognisable, despite the blue paint job.
