@GWRHelp you’ve all surpassed yourselves at Paddington this evening. A board full of cancelled trains and not a single announcement or GWR staff member on the concourse to help the hundreds of people standing around unsure of how to get home. Abysmal customer service !
@TfL hard to imagine an organisation proving a worse transport service than your Elizabeth Line. Every week more delays but you’ve hit a real low this week. 3rd day in a row of severe delays/no trains running leaving thousands stranded at Paddington with no information!
Delighted to invite UK-based early career fibrosis researchers to the 2025 UK ILD early career investigator network meeting. Generous financial support from Boehringer Ingelheim (no input to agenda) means it's free, with food and accomodation included. We have great speakers1/2
Working in London does have some unexpected benefits. Time to return to the classroom @LondonWelshCCLL , brush up on my Welsh language skills and get to know a whole Welsh speaking community in the middle of London. Operation “be a fluent Welsh speaker” is finally underway. 🏴

New paper! we used machine learning to classify people with pulmonary fibrosis based on a blood-biomarker panel and found 3 distinct profiles: clinical differences, stable classes, and supported in Oz registry!
I don’t get to be in the lab all that often these days but having lots of MSc students is a good reason to get back in there and check I haven’t lost all my lab skills 🤣. It’s also a great reminder of just how much fun it is to work in a busy lab ! #PIinthelab#MTWCentre
@kyliebelchamber@OfficialUoM@MFH_Research Congratulations Kylie! We’ll miss you in respiratory but I have no doubt you’ll do great things in your new field. Good luck with the move
Right now, most long-term lung conditions are detected when there is irreversible damage to the lungs. Being able to intervene before the damage is permanent is crucial and only possible if we #FundRespiratoryResearch: https://t.co/6U7zzMvdgJ
