@TheTechEng@NickTagliaferro Fixed-width files can be a pain to parse, but a well-structured one is not worse than a csv, a nonstandard format which is also very old and far more ubiquitous
@DefectiveBecca Oof, I’m sorry. I’m still hung up on seeing radiology reports before appointments to talk about them with your doctor, so you get all the life-changing news via a mobile notification with zero context
@DynamicWebPaige Just played Exo One, which is gorgeous and trippy and all about creative traversal. Leaving Game Pass soon, if it hasn’t already

@doodlestein@walterfwiggins@chrisalbon conda is heavy, but anaconda isn’t? And you can still install from a requirements.txt with conda/mamba if you don’t need the yaml
@s_gruppetta_ct @ChrisCarleone @chrisalbon Lucky all the projects you contribute to use a single Python version. At some degree of mess, conda/mamba becomes necessary
@ajordannafa I mean I started with a BA and 0 (depending on how you count) years of professional DS experience near the top of that range. Other qualifications, of course, but still
