After months of undermining military readiness, Senator Tuberville has lifted his politically-motivated hold on hundreds of military nominations.
Over 400 highly-qualified military leaders have finally been confirmed to perform their duties.
Our servicemembers and military families put everything on the line for our country — they deserved better.
BREAKING: I just had the Senate unanimously confirm hundreds of military promotions.
We’re working to confirm the rest ASAP.
Senator Tuberville held out for months, hurt national security and military families, and didn’t get anything he wanted.
Donald Trump thinks staying up all night Truthing from his toilet about our latest ad is going to somehow stop us. It won't. Here’s the thing, we had hundreds more clips just like the one we released yesterday; this is just the start, Donald.
@TheRickWilson:
Why is James Comer focused on Hunter Biden paying his Dad back for a loan, 3 payments totaling a measly $4,000, when Jared and Ivanka trump cleared $640 million while working at the White House and Jared's firm got $2 BILLION DOLLARS from Saudi Arabia?
What an absolute joke.
I thought my ethically-challenged colleague @BobMenendezNJ could use some encouragement given his substantial legal problems.
So, I approached a seasoned expert on the matter to give ‘Bobby from Jersey’ some advice.
This isn’t some random member of Congress. This is the Speaker of the House, second in line for the American presidency.

When I went to the office of the Dean of student affairs, one look and I knew this woman was not gonna understand or let me into this college.
I remember telling her I understand 99% of the time violence shouldn’t be the answer, but sometimes, especially where I’m from that’s the only answer. And unless you were born and raised in my hood, you’d never understand.
I left dejected wondering what I would do if I couldn’t go to college.
I was only 18 and it felt like my life was over.
Israel Hicks told me to come to his office after. When I saw him he had the worst you done fucked up and there’s nothing I can do look on his face. My heart just dropped.
He put his arm around me and said, “Let’s walk…
She was adamant about you not coming to this school and I told her,
this young man is shockingly talented and he needs a break. He hasn’t had one his entire life and we have an opportunity to make an exception and change this kids life.
I promised her you would never get into any altercation during your 4 years at this university. Do not make me look bad! If you’re feeling the urge to do something you know would get you in trouble come talk to me first.”
I literally just nodded yes, completely in shock that someone would do this for me. Someone who barely knew me.
I upheld my promise to Israel Hicks.
I’ve always called him my surrogate father. He got me my first job and Equity Card. He introduced me to the theatre director Travis Preston who cast me as the lead in the play “Roberto Zucco”.
The great Bill Hart who directed most of Sam Shepard’s plays saw “Roberto Zucco” 4 times because of me and groomed me to play Crow in “A tooth Of Crime”.
Bill finally introduced me to Sam Shepard who gave me the green light to play the part of Crow over people like Johnny Depp. After that the rest was history.
Israel Hicks passed away in 2009 and not a day goes by where I don’t think about the 2nd chance that man gave me.
Love and miss you Israel!#KidVicious🙏🏼❤️
I saw a tweet about 2nd chances and it reminded me of one of my own 2nd chances I was given when trying to get into college.
It was the summer before my senior year of high school and I was 16 years old. My dad told me he was moving to a new place with my stepmother and half brother and gave me 3 options,
I could go to the military, find a new place to live or take over the lease of the place he was leaving.
There was never an option to go and live with them.
I decided to take over the place and start my senior year of high school living on my own with friends. I excelled in all my drama classes at the High School Of The Performing Arts but had zero interest in anything pertaining to academics.
I always KNEW what I wanted to do and geometry wasn’t in my future. (Even though I excelled at math and got accepted to Stuyvesant High School for math but chose to go to La Guardia instead)
During my senior year I lived off the generosity and kindness of my friends and their parents. I loved going to my boy Steve Soto’s house because he always had food!! He lived 3 train stops away from me in Soundview section of The Bronx. His mother always felt bad for me because I looked so skinny and would always try to fatten me up.
When it was time to graduate I had too many classes to make up and never graduated.
I was 17 now and living in the hood with no guidance or any inclination on how to accomplish my dreams.
A truly terrible time in my life.
That years Christmas Eve I was by myself watching Its A Wonderful Life on a 13 inch black & white tv.
I had no money, no food and I was searching for cigarettes butts in the ashtray to smoke. I actually don’t know why I was all alone but I was until I heard a bang at my door at 10pm. When I asked who is it, all I hear is, “Open up Motherfucka!”
It was my one of best friends, Ric!
This little Irish motherfucka had 2 packs of cigarettes, two 40oz bottles of private stock and 2 beautiful juicy foot long chicken parm hero’s!!!
He also happened to be alone on Christmas Eve and he knew I was too prideful to tell anyone I was alone on the holidays or needed help. (This was arguably my fondest memory growing up when I opened that door.)
I was almost a year out of high school and my other best friend Manny’s mother told me you need to go to college for acting and stop fucking around. She paid for my $180 application fee to SUNY Purchase and I applied. Now Manny was already at Purchase for acting and was going into his 2nd year.
I prepared two monologues
From, A raisin In The Sun and Othello and performed them for the Dean of SUNY Purchase at the time, Israel Hicks.
I remember he just looked at me oddly after I did the monologues and just smiled.
(I promise I’ll get to the my 2nd chance, just a little more back story)
Let me backtrack a bit…
A few months before I auditioned for SUNY Purchase, Ric, Steve and I went to visit Manny in college during his freshman year.
Manny gave us his meal card to get into the cafeteria and order food on his card but the PA’s thought we stole it, refused to let us in and a fight began. One of the PA’s pushed my boy Steve and called him faggot because his hair was long.
So…
I knocked the PA out cold.
Security came and put us in the school jail where we became “Persona Non Grata” and were escorted off the campus.
Now…
to get into to purchase I had to get my GED which I did along with Ric who ALSO had not graduated from high school and decided he too wanted try his hand at SUNY Purchase.
I’m literally 2 weeks away from starting my first day at College when I get a call from the Dean Israel Hicks,
“YOU KNOCKED OUT A FUCKING P.A.?!!”
Uh….🤦🏻♂️
I had completely forgot about that incident!
I explained the situation and was told I had to talk to the Dean of student affairs to resolve the issue and appeal the Persona Non Grata.
Continued….
If Chairman Comer had a shred of evidence against Hunter Biden, he’d be BEGGING to have a public hearing.
But he doesn’t. He wants to keep testimony behind closed doors so he can just keep reciting his conspiracy theories to his echo chamber.
This is infuriating. For Americans who rely on wheelchairs to live our lives fully, breaking our wheelchairs is like breaking our legs.
In 2023, we shouldn’t still be seeing our mobility devices treated like this by airlines.
@AmericanAir must do much better.
Just so everyone understands, wheelchairs are often custom-fitted devices that cost thousands of dollars. Fixing them can involve specialty parts and a complex approval process for the majority of people who can’t just pay out of pocket.
@DefectiveBecca@AmericanAir This is totally unacceptable. We'll be investigating. This is exactly why we are taking action to protect passengers who use wheelchairs. Everyone deserves to travel safely and with dignity. https://t.co/K5HO5QIWLK
Wheelchair users have been trying for ages to raise awareness about their wheelchairs being broken so often when they fly, and the devastating impact this has on them.
@AmericanAir baggage handlers decided to give a demonstration of how much they enjoy breaking them 😡
