I’m delighted to announce today that we’ve raised $60M in Series C funding at @MaterializeInc! We’ve now raised a little over $100M since inception in our goal to make every business real-time.

We’re super excited to announce the release of Materialize 0.9! We’ve been hard at work these past few months smoothing out some rough edges, and hardening Materialize for production.
https://t.co/bxEZmn7hgq + 🧵 for highlights about the release!
I had a fun time chatting with @KostasPardalis and @EricDodds on the Data Stack Show - we talked about Materialize, databases, and where we think this whole streaming thing is going!

I enjoyed speaking with @MaterializeInc user Jean-Francois Perreton, who heads the Algo Quant team at Kepler Cheuvreux. Check out our conversation to learn how they’ve used Materialize to build their real-time trading algorithms platform: https://t.co/Z2aRzhHPBb
For last Skunkworks Friday at @MaterializeInc I created a prototype sink for the Materialize CDC format.
I wanted to see if I could daisy chain multiple materialized instances to replicate views. Turns out it works! 😅

📣📣📣 I started a blog. In my first blog post I talk about a question I had for a long time on Fault Tolerance in Stream Processing Systems. Here it goes: https://t.co/rSOsnbkrr5
I hope you enjoy it!
Today was my last day with @VervericaData.
Over the years, I had the chance to work with many wonderful people and made some good friends. 😍
I will miss working with all of you but it's time for me to do something else. 🖖
The bigger the project, the harder it gets to introduce changes. It took years but finally @ApacheFlink has a consistent coding style for Java 🥳 A tiny 1.4M PR...

Just added a new blog post introducing the Apache Flink Stateful Functions Rust SDK: https://t.co/JLKbZnKAK1. It's also interesting if you want to learn about Statefun internals or write your own language SDK, which I can highly recommend.
#ApacheFlink#rustlang
Just published a #golang SDK for @ApacheFlink Stateful Functions. The plan is to donate this to the Apache project but right now I could use help from more experienced go devs. If you know go or are interested in stateful serverless, please take a look. https://t.co/d73YAnvjP9
We're thinking about removing union list state from #ApacheFlink: https://t.co/SxJAoz9SM6. I'd be very interested to see how many people are using this if any. Please tweet at me if you have a use case that needs it.
