@USCnDodgerBlue @MarcErnay if the Giants were forcing them how come Sam Hentges wore the regular uniform the same pride night the other 3 giants wrote those Bible verses. if it was really forced on them Hentges wouldn't have been allowed to play in the regular uniform

@DianneMac4 yeah im not saying its impossible but with very little notice and no promotion people probably cant get the time off to go or afford to. Ive gone to all his tours and only found out last week from an email my mom got from the ticket site that he was gonna be here and I cant go
@RobbyMonk @CydZeigler they chose to wear the hats and chose to deface them, breaking the rules. those three could've done what fellow Giant Hintges did and just wear the regular uniform
@Pingone3 @us4cats @ColiseumSewage exactly. you dont see atheists insulting Faith and Family Night at mlb games. They just choose not to participate and thats all. Just like those players could've done. Hintges didnt participate in wearing the pride hat and he isn't in trouble

Hitgens wore the regular uniform instead of the pride ones. same team, same theme night, and he didnt get in trouble for not wearing it cuz he didnt defame the uniform
@Tim_G_1983 @maklelan When that dude from the Dodgers did the same years ago he got lots of pushback on social media and some articles but nothing to the scale now where lawmakers are trying to chime in. thats why hentges is getting more attention now because what he did disproved their argument
@Tim_G_1983 @maklelan against the notion that the hats were mandatory whenever pride night comes around its only the ones who write the Bible verses on the pride flags that get all the hate. The reason Hentges is now amplified was because idiot lawmakers are trying to co opt this and making it bigger

@lordthx1139 @GlitchBurgh that was minor league and they have different rules. in the MLB it was completely optional. Hentges on the Giants chose to not wear the pride hat and wore the regular uniform and he's not being punished unlike the others
@Tim_G_1983 @maklelan No its just that that is such a miniscule amount and could be compared to literally any player of a team getting criticism for anything. My point was Hentges isn't getting as much pushback as the ones writing on their hats and its objectively true that he isn't
