A huge part of mental health resilience is having the strength to say no, regardless of how tempted you are to say yes
I did that just that
I said no
And it felt so empowering
I used to be ashamed if I didn't understand a concept during a science talk.
Now I am transparent about areas where I may lack knowledge, and approach it as an exciting opportunity for growth.
I have since grown exponentially as a scientist.
