After 4+ years at my last company, I was laid off last month. Instead of rushing into what’s next, I’m taking some time to figure out what I actually want now—and writing about it as I go.

@Erica_Codes_NJ For sure. For me, this is a pretty purposeful period of exploration—following what I’m curious about and writing about what I find, without deciding what it all needs to add up to before I get there u know?

@British_Airways I have no words… lost bags took 6 days out of our 8 day trip to get them back. Basically reminded our entire itinerary with no equipment and then customer service has no direct way to help just endless claims to file with barely functioning tech. Never again.
the way @airbnb doesn’t care if a host cancels last min and leaves you high and dry on christmas weekend so your only options are now 2x or 3x the cost
they’ll only make up the cost difference if a host cancels 3 days out or less… how is that enough to accomodate plans?
If you're lazy and arrogant, UX design is *not* the job for you. It demands to throw away and start again on a regular basis, because that is the path to complete success. But sure, advocate for "just do that", templates, shortcuts, quick fixes, and "I know best I designed it".
