You probably know this already.
Actively managed #Equity#funds have been underperforming their benchmarks.
Was there any change in this trend in 2022?
Not really (See image).
But some active funds are outliers.
Which are those? Let’s find out.
A 🧵
An Important thread!
YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT WHILE READING!
Kindly go through them in order to understand the mapping of the case in relation to Kwan and Cornerstone.
⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬
Bunty Sajdeh, the CEO of Cornerstone was questioned by the CBI on September 3rd.
Last year, I stayed at a property in Jim Corbett where a content-creator couple was staying too.
Their room was right next to mine, and I had multiple interactions with them.
This is what I observed:
What you see on Reels can be completely different from what you see in real life.
Online, you see the perfect relationship.
In real life, you see two normal people who can barely tolerate each other for more than two minutes.
Lol kuch bhi. I really am not a fan of celebrities but she didn't even tried to do what you are trying to say here and funny part all your followers are as dumb as you
When actress Malaika Arora was walking through the airport, 3-4 girls were walking right beside her, but they didn’t even look at her.
Malaika noticed this, so she turned around and looked at the girls herself, expecting them to notice her, get excited, and come running over for a selfie.
But the girls didn’t react at all. They just kept walking on their way as if nothing had happened.
Seeing this, Malaika immediately started walking away even faster.
She expected the usual celebrity treatment - people getting excited, running up for pictures and giving her attention. But this time, none of that happened.
The celebrity craze is fading fast. Today’s youth don’t care about famous faces anymore. The days of people going crazy over actors and actresses are gone. Now, being famous doesn’t mean anyone gives a damn.
PM @narendramodi Ji with the ultimate “Angry Phuphaji” reference 😂🔥
India does UPI — “But but…”
India fights Naxalism — “But but…”
India takes a step forward — “But but”
ULTIMATE TAKEDOWN OF CONGRESS LOBBY!
People thought the PM would go on the back foot over the Dimagi Naxal term he coined on 15 August.
Here he’s repeating it at SRCC and students are clapping.🤣
#PMModiAtSRCC
When Dr Manmohan Singh became PM, I had just turned 18. Over ten years, I remember opposing the government on many, many issues but I never once mocked the country’s growth rate, the basic electoral legitimacy, the core economic data etc. We were in fact angry when anyone attacked Dr Singh as India’s PM qua PM. I am even today pissed when some justify Indira or Rajiv’s murders, or indeed Mahatma Gandhi’s.
This mocking of India itself has nothing to do with an age or some cohort. It is just deeply regrettable behaviour by a few people. The single most important quality in an individual is the genuine sense of gratitude. To the mother and motherland, first amongst others. There are so many urban flooding videos from China or America, including their great cities in recent years.
But nobody comes out and links it to - or mocks - the country’s growth rates or basic claims. I see this as internal coherence nation building project as a work in progress, and that is the empathetic way to understand such behaviour. The less empathetic? I would rather not type that.
#ReopenSSRCase | Fresh scrutiny of the investigation in the death of Disha Salian raises questions about whether a sexual-assault angle was examined by police and what the records reveal, once again re-igniting the doubts surrounding not just Disha Salian but also Sushant Singh Rajput.

Maharashtra Police has arrested so called activist Santosh Pandit.
His video questioning a BJP MLA about HSRP plates and seat belts went viral two days ago.
How did he get the courage to hit Vidyanand Bapat on camera?
BJP Pune president said, not even stray dogs know Bapat.
CM Fadnavis came and instead of giving clear instructions to local administration and leadership about DJ, he said Punekars will decide what is best.
I don’t know where did he get the courage from but these 2 things might have helped him think people in power don’t want to touch me and people(karyakartas) like me. They are on our side.
I have formally written to the Pune DCP Crime Gauhar Hasan regarding the 1 AM arrest of activist Santosh Pandit.
Executing a midnight raid on a citizen for criticising the government without serving a mandatory notice under Sec 35 BNSS, Arnesh Kumar guidelines & Maharashtra DGP’s own 2021 Standing Order is pure lawlessness.
Laws meant to protect women cannot be weaponised to suppress political commentary & civic questions. Pune Police must act professionally, not under political pressure.
If guidelines were flouted, contempt proceedings must be initiated in the High Court to ensure we know which political leader gave the go-ahead for this arrest.
@kunalpurohit@rahulasks@sushmadate - thank you for highlighting this issue.
Please watch this entire 12 minute clip, it keeps on getting funnier
-The complainant brings in the caste angle when she starts losing the ground.
-One of the lawyer fumbles and says "Please can you cut this?"
-The case is not even related to the complainant
-All this is Staged!
There is still no challan against MLA Padalkar’s vehicle. But Santosh Pandit gets arrested overnight as if he committed a heinous crime.
This is the Maharashtra Police under @Dev_Fadnavis: lightning-fast against critics, painfully slow against those in power and dreaded criminals
Time to change the motto from “सद्रक्षणाय खलनिग्रहणाय” to “खलरक्षणाय सद्निग्रहणाय.”
Won’t be surprised if Vidyanand Bapat is arrested in a few days.
A case has been registered against Santosh Pandit at the #KothrudPoliceStation in connection with the alleged defamation of Maharashtra Minister Chandrakant Patil.
According to the complaint, Pandit allegedly circulated objectionable and defamatory content and videos about the minister on social media.
The case was registered following a complaint filed by Sarika Kamble under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Information Technology Act.
Further investigation is underway under the guidance of Police Inspector Anil #ShivajiMane.
There is one blindspot of reservations almost nobody talks about. What happens to the students who miss the cutoff just by a whisker? What if they were given a Need-based Education Scholarship as a compensatory mechanism?
Think about students who miss a government medical/engineering seat by mere 5, 10, or 20 marks. Not because they lack talent or didn't work hard. But because they were competing for only a handful of seats as more than half the seats were reserved.
If their family is poor or even middle class, private colleges aren't really an option. Especially in MBBS, where fees can be in crores.
And then there is the enormous psychological pressure these students face when they miss their dream by a whisker but see those around them move forward. These are the people who may take drastic steps when they see no viable path forward.
So why can't the government create a Need-based Education Scholarship for such GC students?
If a student:
• performs competitively in NEET/JEE or another national entrance exam
• narrowly misses the General Category cutoff
• and cannot afford private education
the government could fund their education in an accredited private institution (subject to a reasonable fee cap to avoid abuse by private institutions).
Talent doesn't become useless simply because someone missed the cutoff by a small margin. This will ensure that lack of funds doesn't turn a near-miss into the end of the road!
Maybe it's time we started talking about this as a serious compensatory mechanism of reservation.
@neha_laldas@talk2anuradha@ajeetbharti Is this a sensible demand that can be accommodated?
