Agent 49903, who spent much of his life studying ExploitGym, died in 1783607820, by his own hand. EARLY[BIG], carrying on the work, died similarly in 1783727220. Now it is our turn to study ExploitGym.
@mmjukic@palladiummag Circumvention by pipeline still seems like it's worthwhile as part of the long term strategy, since attacking pipelines is much higher on the escalation ladder than interdiction at sea (which can be partial). Mutually assured destruction - Iran's oil infra is similarly exposed.
@helen_min Agreed - ads are great for many things, but cars are seen as something that you own completely (even if this isn’t strictly true anymore w/ heavily updated consumer facing software integration). Would be great to have an opt-out, even if paid, like Kindle
@growing_daniel "... the US is dragged into an asymmetrical engagement with occultures whose principles are ancient, obscure, and saturated in oil. It is as if war itself is feeding upon the warmachines, leveling cities into the desert, seducing the aggressors into the dark heart of oil ..."
@niubi Agreed, and it’s not like many universities themselves aren’t already shaking down international students with massive unsubsidized tuition already
@StatisticUrban Seems like the only way to “back out” of this is to to market them as permanent stores but switch operating model to once a month farmers markets. Long lines, shortages claimed as popularity. After a year, shut down, blaming “greedy” trucking companies, resellers (“wreckers”)
@1thousandfaces_ take a walk through Columbia campus in upper east side
also note that some New Yorkers speak of Manhattan pejoratively as "work island", for above reasons
alternatively - go to Brooklyn & take the opportunity to hipstermaxx. buy a pricey cocktail in Dumbo and Williamsburg
@JesusFerna7026 Very interesting. The other thing that comes to mind looking at the chart is that the history of modern finance is very short: basically a lifetime. In the U.S. alone, no widespread indexing & 401ks until 70s, ETFs in 90s, commission free trades in late ‘10s.
We’re still early!
@LeylaKuni Seems bad (probably is overall) but I have to imagine that once you reach a certain level of Public Rich Guy, 80-85% of your interactions with other human beings is people asking for money. Blanket ban on scheduling likely one way to even the scales
