Just in⏰: Glad to have hosted a #Team from @NCHRD_UG for a Monitoring visit at @CommunitiesOrg office. This was aimed at analysing the areas of compliance, HRD Protection and the existing opportunities. In Preparation for the election period, an analysis of risk was also done.

🙌Our ED @BRKirenga presented the issues paper on behalf of #CSOs during the quarterly dialogue meeting between Ministry of Internal Affairs, & @GovUganda #MDAs & Leaders of #CSOs.

The five( 5) critical issues he raised include:
1. Accreditation process & undermining of #CSO.
2. State mistrust & politicization of #CSO work.
3. Violence, arbitrary arrests and intimidations.
4. Restrictions on #CSO Coalition for election observation.
5. Unheaded calls for electoral  reforms.
