Everyone is blaming “new rules” for the mess, but let’s be honest: @IndiGo6E had plenty of time to plan. The @DGCAIndia rest rules didn’t appear overnight.

If you know your pilots will have fewer flying hours, you plan hiring, fix your rosters and cut some flights in advance. That’s what good operations looks like.

@IndiGo6E kept selling tickets, running a packed schedule and then cancelled flights at the last minute. For passengers, that’s not “operational issues”, that’s broken trust.

If you don’t have enough rested crew for a route, cancel that flight a week earlier, not at boarding time. Give people a chance to rebook or change plans.

It almost feels like they were hoping DGCA would relax the rules till the last moment. The rules stayed, the planning didn’t and travellers are paying the price.

Airlines can’t treat passengers like a buffer for bad planning. Be honest about capacity, publish a realistic schedule and cancel early. Simple, fair and respectful.

This ought to be very clear. The Parliament of India is ours. It is the people’s. The people of India, its children, were brutally beaten up, some blinded for life, by the Delhi Police and the RAF which is under the CRPF a central force.

Hence, their boss, Home Minister Amit Shah ought to answer for their crimes. Why is he not appearing before the Parliament for the last two weeks and answering for his force’s draconian brutality? After all, accountability ought to be fixed. Why is the Speaker Om Birla unable to compel the government to answer? It is his duty to remain impartial. Speakers that are coloured and politically biased ought to be made answerable too.

It is not a radical demand of the MPs to hold Amit Shah answerable before the Parliament for the Black Day that is 20th July 2026. It is a legitimate demand that should be IMMEDIATELY met so our Parliament functions.

I just spoke with Ruchika's mother. She is deeply upset and understandably angry. Despite Ruchika releasing an apology video and Prime Minister @narendramodi publicly stating that she (& others) should be forgiven, the FIR against her child has still not been withdrawn. She is also distressed that sections of the media continue to circulate her daughter's videos and relentlessly hound the family with questions.

On behalf of Cockroach Janta Party, I assured her that no legal action will be taken against her child. I also assured her that we will extend every possible legal assistance and ensure Ruchika receives any counselling and support she may need during this difficult time.

She was relieved to hear this and said she would reach out to me whenever any assistance is required.
