I don't think we're talking enough about how this Big Dumb Ugly Bill expands ICE by a factor of 20. ($2.2B to $45B)
That's 20 times more agents. 20 times more arrests, plus illegal detention centers.
Trump is using the bill to create his own paramilitary gestapo.
The GOP just passed a bill most of them vehemently disagree with — and that they know is going to harm their constituents — because they’re afraid of Trump.
Pretty pathetic stuff.
If our Christianity causes kids to go hungry, the sick to go without healthcare, the stranger to be unwelcome, the needy to be called “parasites,” all while billionaires get richer, we’ve profoundly misunderstood the most basic elements of Jesus’ teachings.
Vance is real-life Frank Underwood—no beliefs, no morals, just raw ambition. He once compared Trump to Hitler, then signed up to be his VP. Wouldn’t be shocked if he’s already reading the tea leaves, figuring out when to turn on Trump to boost himself.
For years we've heard from the right about "welfare queens" and other so-called "freeloaders" pulling one over on the government.
But actually, it's the wealthy who are the real freeloaders — pulling one over on us all by skirting their taxes.
Where is the outrage over that?
Let's be fair here. Just because Elon says that Trump is in the Epstein files and just because there are dozens of photos and videos with Trump & Epstein together and just because Trump called Epstein a "terrific guy" who "likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side" and just because Trump said that he's "less so" likely to release the Epstein files because "you don't want to affect people's lives if it's phony stuff in there" and just because his administration has refused to actually release anything doesn't mean... okay yeah he's in the Epstein files.
If Musk & his pals are so concerned about increasing the national debt in Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill, why don’t they cut the $664 billion in tax breaks for the 1%; the $420 billion in tax breaks for large profitable corporations; & the $150 billion in increased military spending?
