Theory: The FBI hack on Feb 12th, 2023, where 500 TB of select Epstein data was deleted (of which 100 TB was unrecoverable) was done by someone hired by Ghislaine Maxwell to delete evidence on file for her appeal, making it much more difficult or impossible to hold up her conviction. If the evidence used to convict her was deleted, she could basically argue that they fabricated it and upon re-checking, find that it didn't actually exist in their files.

Let's assume that writing the appeal took ~2 weeks - not a simple appeal but not super complex either (Grok rated it weak to moderate). Let's assume Maxwell thought the hacker had fully succeeded, and that all the data was unrecoverable when she filed the appeal.

Ghislaine Maxwell appealed her court case on Feb 28th, 2023. The hack happened on Feb 12th, 2023 (a Sunday). A difference of 16 days.

Maxwell was likely talking to her lawyer about it on the day after the Superbowl, the 13th(Monday, start of the week). I'm assuming it took a whole day to hammer out, which lands us on the 14th - exactly 2 weeks prior to the appeal. 2 weeks seems like a reasonable deadline for a lawyer to give, so that they can pony up all the data into a coherent document and submit it.

The Maxwell trial was done and closed at this point, so I find this theory to be the most plausible as to why anyone would hack it. No past or future presidents had spoken about releasing "The Epstein Files" at this point.

TLDR: the hack was done for the benefit of Maxwell's appeal which happened ~2 weeks later. I don't think it had to do with Epstein, who was long since dead, or blackmail.

It never catered to them in the first place - originally, only landowners could vote, which excluded like 98% of everyone.

It just so happens that, when you look at the data, they contribute the most, complain the least, and are overall the model demographic. You can sling these mindless platitudes at me all you'd like, but the data here is quite clear.

I break it down into 3 axioms for quality immigration:
1) Distance from native culture - how different are they? Are we importing an incompatible culture? Do they have slavery(Africa)/caste systems(India)? Do they believe that apostates should be murdered? What does the culture look like? And etc...
2) How much will they meaningfully contribute? We have data on this from Europe - loosely follows general IQ of cultures. We don't want to import people who are guaranteed to become public charges - this is just bad policy. Exceptions can be made for special cases, of course.
3) Patriotism - how much do they LIKE the culture they're adopting? Don't import trojan horse factions. Another case of it just being bad policy.

You can bend on some of these for special cases, but immigrant groups who possess all 3 should be prioritized. Citizenship is a privilege, not a right.

For example: It is not in our best interest to import Somalians, 80% of whom end up on public assistance, who send most of their money back to Somalia via remittances, nor because Somalia is a hellhole with the highest percentage of FGM globally and shit like that. Neither is it in our best interests to import Indians, who are less dependent on public assistance but also send most of that money back home (and thus, avoid paying into our system in any significant capacity). All while exploiting the H1B system far beyond what its original intended purpose was(to fill labor shortages where you couldn't find a market-paying candidate)

Whether you want to admit it or not, white men are paying for the brunt of this. They are the ONLY group who pay more into the system than they take out.

There's not much "nut job" about Lahn, he's only really different from Feenstra in a few key areas, mainly that he doesn't think we should take endless H1B abuse and he also cares about the cancer rates. He doesn't like foreign lobby money. He's about as anti-abortion as Feenstra, maybe a hair to the right.

I will admit Sand is a better candidate than what the Democrats have been fronting lately on the issues, that is pretty clear. But Iowans probably have more hatred for "what turned California into a cesspool" than any other state, so no, this is not just a blip issue.
