Looking at the Zcash issue:
I prefer the generation of assets (crypto or RWA) on a fully transparent layer 1.
When privacy is required this should happen on another layer.
Flare Confidential Compute (FCC) provides the privacy layer and Flare (transparent L1) provides the ingress and egress of assets either created on Flare or elsewhere (eg XRPL) to FCC.
The FTSO rewards system allows for as much as 100 active providers to become eligible for rewards.
There are now currently 105 active providers.
That means 5 providers will be left in the cold with zero rewards.
Who becomes eligible is decided by VP.
It matters more now than ever that Flare users delegate and stake to reputable providers that actually contribute to the community.
It's no coincidence that providers that have been silent and inactive for years are suddenly coming to life.
Another example of companies leveraging Flare. @ProofRails is building out a service that facilitates web payments via the http 402 status code: "Payment Required". The 402 Status code is a payment gate where the user has to pay in order to gain access to something.
ProofRails takes it a step further by generating a record of payment (USDT0) and anchoring it to Flare so it can be verified and audited, creating a workflow for both humans and AI agents.
Currently live and testing on Coston2.
Today we’re launching the x402 facilitator on Coston2 under ProofRails:

x402 alone is a payment gate.
ProofRails turns that payment into a verifiable financial workflow that agents, enterprises, and institutions can build on.
This first demo uses mocked USDT0 in an agentic flow to unlock a gated report page.
After the normal x402 payment flow, ProofRails creates an evidence record, anchors the bundle hash on Flare, and makes the flow independently verifiable afterward.
FSA is already proving one side of Flare’s UX thesis: XRPL users can interact with Flare through the wallet flow they already know.
PMW takes the other side further: protocols on Flare will be able to execute on external chains through TEE-backed, protocol-managed wallets.
Not just bridging assets, but abstracting both the user entry point and the cross-chain execution layer.
These new FPGA systems are really cool. I've seen a couple different companies making them and I suspect there will only be more. You can either play them with your old cartridges (if you still have them) or there are of course companies making retro cartridges as well. I have the MiSTer FPGA system, and it's way better than software emulation. I'm also looking at getting an old CRT monitor for the full authentic experience.
Old rivalries will be settled…
Rainbow Road will be revisited…
Oddjob will be unfairly selected…
All starting on July 28th, the official launch date for M64.
The M64 can be played with all your original cartridges and controllers, and is available for purchase on July 28th, along with ModRetro's own controller and 4 launch titles.

⚠️FORMER WHITE HOUSE AI CZAR WARNS OF “ORWELLIAN” AI GOVERNMENT CONTROL
David Sacks warns the biggest AI threat may be governments are using the technology for mass surveillance, censorship, and social control rather than the AI itself.
Clarity Act is still going through Congress and being fought. It's crazy how the Bills like this, that are favorable by most people, take forever to pass, while others, that no one asked for and are arguably unfavorable to most people seem to pass right through in the dead of the night.

FXRP redemptions now support XRPL destination tags, making it easier to send redeemed XRP directly to addresses that require them, including many exchanges.
This improves the redemption flow by making sure the agent includes the correct tag in the XRPL payment, reducing friction for users moving from FXRP back to XRP.
