His research in immunogenetics and immunoengineering examines how human genetic variation shapes immune responses to infection, helping to develop more precise diagnostics and treatments for diverse populations. As a Saudi scientist building his lab at KAUST, he is strengthening the Kingdom’s role as a hub for biomedical innovation and supporting national goals in health and life sciences.
