La palabra “Cihuamxitla” no tiene sentido alguno y es difícil de leer. «Cihua» sí es la raíz de “mujer”, pero «tla» es simplemente “algo”. ¿Y «mxi» en medio qué es?
tla + ihtoa (decir) = tlahtoa (decir algo; hablar)
tlahtoa + ni (*agente*) = tlahtoani (el que habla; gobernante)

No, it’s a language’s natural progression, no need to tell people how to talk when they’re already communicating effectively by “speaking wrong”. I mean, you understand them enough to correct them, so…
All languages covey information at a similar rate when spoken (39bits/s).
Languages that are spoken faster have less information density per syllable!
One of the coolest results in linguistics.

@ADHDForReal I’ve tried so many times to get the proper treatment but my country doesn’t believe an adult can be neurodivergent because that’s “kid’s stuff” and I just need more discipline and motivation 🫠
Unpopular opinion (?)
It’s true in speech not in writing. I tell my students, when in doubt just add a D/T sound at the end, it works for all regular and most irregular verbs.
The irregular verbs that don’t fit into this, would stand out so much that it’d be hard to forget them
I’ve been called “weird” all my life by many people in many contexts, and I’ve learned it’s all about intent, you know when it’s hurtful.
About the current political situation in the US, I’m totally fine with the word because they indeed have weird and dangerous ideas about life
It might just be me, but I have a problem with people using the word "weird" as an insult. People being "weird" shouldn't be a thing. We are all different. Good people are different and the word is used to describe us too. Let us be different without making us feel like outcasts.
As an autistic person I would love to live in a world where my social abilities didn’t impact my prospects of holding a job or getting paid because “I don’t network enough”
I provided En/Sp classes to a startup for a month. One day the CEO goes: “We’re pausing, this is taking too long and we’re losing money, our developers can streamline the process with AI. The team loved your classes so we want you to work in this project, no compensation though.”
