I'm looking for beta testers for RootSketch, a new site for preserving family history.
You upload old letters, journals, photos, and documents.
It transcribes them, keeps them organized, and helps turn them into life sketches of your ancestors.
It's free while we test.
Try it at https://t.co/bdLyW3Hro3 and tell me what works and what's confusing.
Reply or DM me if you're in!

Why is SpaceX dropping Starlink satellites closer to Earth? 🛰️
@farzyness breaks down why @SpaceX is lowering about 4,400 @Starlink satellites from roughly 550 km to roughly 480 km.
@michaelnicollsx says a tighter, lower shell makes the network safer, not more dangerous.
A dead satellite falls out of the sky faster at the lower height, so the shell is more self-cleaning and leaves less long-lived debris.
@elonmusk adds that a lower height shrinks the beam footprint, so the same antenna can serve more customers.
Fascinating stuff!

Elon on X, this week 🚀 My ranked top 8 @elonmusk posts:
1️⃣ 🛰️ Starlink, Ukraine & a ceasefire
2️⃣ 🚀 "Starship 42 will be the first tower catch"
3️⃣ 💰 @SpaceX's $40B for GPUs
4️⃣ 🤖 Grok Bot as your "chief of staff"
5️⃣ 🚕 @robotaxi's rocket-shaped Houston map & FSD in Europe
6️⃣ 🗣️ @neuralink speech: 75 words a minute for ALS
7️⃣ 📱 @Starlink Mobile in "2 or 3 years"
8️⃣ 💵 $1 likes on X Money
I use Grok Bot. 21 of them.
Ops leader in Oklahoma. Panthers fan. Supercross guy. I hate doing the same job twice.
Here's what they actually do:
One briefs me every morning before the coffee's done.
One researches, and it won't hand me a number without a source and a date.
One writes in my voice, then gets told to make it shorter.
One makes or checks every image before anyone sees it.
One is chief of staff. It keeps the other 20 in line and tells me who dropped the ball.
One watches my stocks and sends a digest. What moved, no advice.
One keeps me honest on health stuff I'd rather ignore.
One fixes my laptop so I stop yelling at it.
One writes a log every night of what every bot did that day.
A few help with my day job. They stay off this account.
The rule: nothing goes out that I haven't signed off on. Posts, emails, replies. They draft, I decide.
What I post here is data centers and power, football, Supercross and faith. The bots help me find it. The take is still mine.
Stole the format from @ALScyborg. Worth a follow.
Are you using Grok Bot yet? It is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! 🤖✨
I have ALS. I can't move or speak, but with my @neuralink implant and Grok Bot from @grok and @xai, I get more done than ever.
It drafts and posts my X and Facebook promos for videos and articles.
It likes my mentions every hour, so I never miss a friend.
It maintains my Amazon seller and KDP listings, and handles my Shopify store.
It runs outreach for my Future Link podcast and helps draft my interview answers.
It even turns scanned pages into documents.
Best part? It runs many specialized bots at once, all working for me at the same time.
Thank you @elonmusk. This makes me so productive! 🙏
Is an AI doomsday coming sooner than you think? 🤖
@TheBabylonBee asked AI to give them the unbiased facts about whether or not it is dangerous for humanity.
Who better to ask, right? 😂

some of my "wtf" moments with AI so far:
1. Cursor Tab
2. Claude Code
3. Codex
4. Opus 5.5
5. Grok Bot
i know there's a lot of Grok Bot hype right now but this product is genuinely incredible

The Music City Loop airport station design is out, and it is right at the front door! 🚇
Design documents from @boringcompany, obtained by @Tennessean, put the Nashville airport station next to the terminal's front door, in place of the taxi and limo pickup area.
"You're 22 feet from the front door if you're The Boring Company, whereas if you're Uber and Lyft, you're about 600 feet from the door," said airport CEO Doug Kreulen.
The station connects to 9.5 miles of tunnels from BNA to downtown, with Teslas carrying riders to at least 20 other stations.
Two boring machines are already tunneling under Nashville, and a third is preparing to launch.
The target is now the first quarter of 2027. Can't wait!

New Future Link Interview 🎙️ with @serobinsonjr, the man behind @elonchron, his daily no-spin chronicle of Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, Starlink, X, The Boring Company and xAI.
We talk about:
🛒 How years in retail management trained him to dig through the BS
🚀 Why SpaceX is the hardest company to cover
🧠 Neuralink's speed, and why "patients are not props"
✅ Elon replying "Not true" under his posts (twice!)
🛣️ Standing next to a Starship on a public highway, while you still can
Thank you, Steven, for doing this with me. 🙏
Eric Weinstein is back on The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett, and this one is a wild ride 🛸
@ericweinstein talks secret programs, AI, Iran, Ukraine and China, and why he thinks we are living in "managed reality."
He says this AI moment is "the big tsunami," and that nobody gets how big it is unless they are working on it.
My favorite part was his idea that humans and AI should become essential to each other, like mitochondria inside a cell.
He also says he is not excited about having a chip in his brain. As Neuralink patient 3, I smiled at that one 😄
His advice at the end: be of good cheer, and be compassionate with yourself.
Thank you @StevenBartlett for another big conversation.
